Őrségi kástu
Rebekával tettünk egy rövid utat az Őrségben. Itt-ott le is ültünk rajzolni, ezt az éléskamrát a pityerszeri skanzenben láttuk. Aztán itthon vektoroztam és a rosszul látott részeket is kijavítottam, persze nem mindenhol. :D
Old Hungarian pantry
Rebeka and I spent some time in Őrség, which is a rural area at the border of Hungary, next to Austria and Slovenia. This land is mostly unchanged for the past centuries and it is full of kind people, traditional restaurants, mushrooms and beautiful old buildings. We took our chance to draw on the spot, because it’s always fun to capture interesting architecture! So here is the last remaining Kástu with two floors which is still on the very spot where it was built. It was used to store all sorts of edible goods during winter season.

Most, hogy kezd elmúlni a nyár és egyre jobban hiányzik a Balaton, eszembe jutott, hogy ezt a térképemet még nem is töltöttem fel ide. A térképet a
Nescafe❤️Balaton játékához rajzoltam. A kampányban Papp Gergely (Pimaszúr) és Vigh Bori (Backpacker Bori) mutatták be a nekik kedves helyeket a Balaton körül. A képek közé betettem a barlang és a kertmozi korábbi verzióit is, amik ebben a formában sajnos nem kerültek be a végleges anyagba, de nagyon szerettem őket.

Balaton Map
The summer is over here and I miss Balaton, a beautiful lake in Hungary. This summer Nescafé started a campaign with two famous influencers to reveal interesting places around Balaton, but off the beaten-path. I drew this map that contains fifteen specified attractions marked with detailed illustrations, ornamented with regular activities around Balaton. You can see two of the illustrations too, the cave and the outdoor cinema, which I really liked, but they needed a little modification.

Antwerp harbour maze
Poor young lad has got lost in the 16th century harbour of Antwerp, help him find the way through the town to his boss, who is waiting with the mule for the last barrel. Can you spot all 5 chests and 5 rats hidden in the town?

I couldn’t restrain myself of drawing the whole Church complex of Városmajor, Budapest. Both the old and the modern part were designed by the same architect, Aladár Árkay, but with 10 years difference.

You can walk on the wooden planks, use the ropes to climb down to the ground and back up to the treetops, also you can pass under the planks once you are on the ground.

Illustrated tourist map of Zirc and its surrounding area
I got the opportunity to draw the illustrated tourist map of Zirc, a small town in a beautiful green region of Hungary. I really enjoyed working on this piece, because Zirc and its surroundings has a lot of interesting spectacles to draw. It was challenging to fit all these buildings and locations on the map, sometimes it took me days to draw one and figure out its right position, but I always find these tasks really exciting and fulfilling. The most complex area to draw was the town center of Zirc, with the mighty building of the Cistercian Abbey and Arboretum.

Nagyon szerettem ezen a projekten dolgozni, mert rengeteg érdekes lerajzolnivaló van Zirc körül. A projekt legjobb része az volt mikor kitaláltam, hogy mi hova kerüljön majd a térképen. Ennek a legnehezebb része Zirc belvárosa volt, ahol nagyon sokmindent kellett ábrázolnom, úgy hogy a térképpel ezután is könnyen lehessen tájékozódni. A térkép többi részét nagyon élvezetes volt rajzolni, volt hogy egy-egy épülettel vagy látványosággal napokat is eltöltöttem.

The first illustration is a hypothetical reconstruction in its 18th century form, the second is the current condition. Old illustrations and the works of F. König, Ferenc Tamás and Tomatas were used as references for the reconstruction.
